Report: Uggla tops Utley pact
Chase Utley no longer is first at second, if the report of Dan Uggla’s new contract is true. Uggla, who was traded from Florida to Atlanta in November, yesterday averted arbitration by agreeing to a 5-year, $62 million contract that makes him the highest-paid second baseman in baseball, according to FOXSports.com.
