Sliders move Clark to VP, hire former Cardinal Ford as manager
The Springfield Sliders have hired former St. Louis Cardinal Curt Ford as the Prospect League team’s new field manager. Last year’s manager, former Cardinal Jack Clark, will become the team’s vice president of baseball operations and “will remain active in Springfield,” according to a news release issued by the team Wednesday.
